This fellow zombie was created for the mobile game “Diableros”. It is planned to be one of the half-tank, half-fast zombies that you encounter. This model was really fun to design. The idea was to have an ex-gym teacher turned into a zombie.
Initial 3D Sketch is done in ZBrush. Low poly retopo, UVW, rig, and skinning are done in 3ds Max. The texture is painted in 3DCoat.
Environment modeled and animated in 3DS Max. Assets also done for the Diableros.
Character has a triangle count of 1816.
Run animation: Animation is provided by others. Retargeting done in Motion Builder.
